Coated pipe is a steel tube built from CRFH (Cold Rolled Full Hard) ERW steel, with a bonded protective coating designed to assemble into racks, trolleys, and workstations without welding. We manufacture it in five thicknesses and six colors at our ISO 9001:2015 certified facility in Pune, and supply it to automotive, electronics, warehousing, and pharmaceutical plants across India.
What Is Coated Pipe, exactly?
Think of it as a steel pipe with a protective layer built in. The core is a precision steel tube, manufactured from CRFH (Cold Rolled Full Hard) ERW steel, cold-rolled for high hardness and dimensional precision, giving it strong load-bearing capacity without needing extra wall thickness or added weight.
An adhesive bonds a protective coating to the outside of that steel, and the inner surface stays non-corrosive as well, so the pipe is protected inside and out rather than just on the visible surface. That coating is what keeps the pipe from rusting or pitting in humid conditions and holds up against the scuffing and abrasion that comes from bins and components sliding across it every day, without needing repainting or touch-up a few years in.

Choosing the Right Thickness
Coated pipe comes in five steel thicknesses, from 0.8mm up to 2mm:
