Position Title: Senior Sales Engineer

Department: Sales & Marketing

Location: Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad

Reporting To:  Director

Industry:  Industrial Automation / Material Handling / Manufacturing

Position Summary:

The Senior Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving revenue growth in the Western &
Northern region by identifying new business opportunities and providing technical expertise to
clients in the automotive, FMCG, and e-commerce sectors. You will bridge the gap between
complex engineering requirements and commercial solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

·  Business Development: Actively seek out and qualify new leads through networking, site
visits, and market research within the industrial hubs .

· Technical Consulting: Conduct site surveys to understand client workflows and recommend
customized material handling solutions (e.g., VRC Lifts, FIFO racks, or Conveyor systems).

· Proposal Management: Co-ordinate with Design & Costing Departments for technical
proposals and basic layout interpretations, ensuring they meet the client’s technical and
budgetary needs.

· Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-
makers, including Plant Managers and Purchase Heads.

·  Sales Execution: Lead price negotiations and manage the commercial terms of contracts.
Oversee the process from inquiry to commissioning and final payment collection.

·  Language requirement: English, Hindi, Gujarati (preferred).

Required Qualifications & Skills

Qualification/ Skills Requirement
EducationBE/ B. Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Technical Sales, specifically with in Material Handling
or Industrial Automation

Skills & Competencies

·  Good communication skills, customer orientation, problem-solving ability.

·  Proficiency in reading engineering drawings (Auto CAD) and a Solid understanding of lean
manufacturing concept (Kaizen, 5S)

·  Hands on experience with CRM Tools and MS office (Excel/ Power point)

· Must have a Valid driver’s License and be willing to travel extensively for

Site visit and client meetings
