Position Title: Senior Sales Engineer – Pipe & Joint Systems

About the Role:

We are looking for a result-oriented Senior Sales Engineer to drive business for our Pipe & Joint

Systems division. The role focuses on understanding customer requirements, developing solutions,

and managing the complete sales cycle in coordination with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

. Identify and develop new business opportunities across manufacturing, warehousing, logistics,

and automotive sectors

. Manage complete sales cycle: lead generation → requirement understanding → proposal →

negotiation → order closure

. Understand customer applications and recommend suitable pipe & joint system solutions

. Coordinate closely with design and costing teams for preparation of techno-commercial quotations

. Ensure timely follow-up and closure of quotations generated by back-office team

. Conduct client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions

. Monitor order execution and fulfillment by coordinating with operations, ensuring timely delivery

and installation

. Track outstanding payments, follow up with customers, and coordinate with finance team for

timely collections

. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers for repeat business

. Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing benchmarks

. Achieve defined sales targets and contribute to overall business growth

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of material handling systems / modular pipe & joint systems

Ability to understand layouts, basic engineering drawings, and applications

Good coordination skills to work with internal teams (design, costing, operations, finance)

Strong communication and negotiation abilities

Ownership mindset for both sales closure and post-order execution

Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused approach

Required Qualifications & Skills

Qualification / skills Requirement
Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)

Experience: 4–5 years in technical sales. Experience in material handling / industrial automation / storage systems preferred
