General

Technovision’s Four Post VRC is a robust, free-standing vertical reciprocating conveyor designed for safe and efficient movement of material between floors. The four post configuration offers enhanced structural stability, making it well suited for heavier or larger carriage requirements.

Product Range

Available with lifting capacity up to 2000 kg, carriage size 1500×1500 mm, and travel height up to 20.0 metres.

Structure

Modular MS tubular structure with ‘T’ guide and vertical ‘H’ beams across four posts. The carriage is MS fabricated with a checkered platform, covered with MS perforated sheet on non-operating sides, and fitted with collapsible doors on operating sides. The vertical structure includes MS bracing and can optionally be covered with MS perforated sheet.

Operation

Carriage movement is controlled by an SEW Fail Safe Motor and Speed Reduction Gear Box via a Chain & Sprockets mechanism.

Safety

  • 2 spring-loaded Safety Cams arrest sudden carriage fall due to chain failure
  • Bottom Safety Limit Switch prevents the carriage from hammering the ground if the floor limit switch fails
  • Chain Tensioner Limit Switch stops the carriage if lifting chains are displaced by external obstruction
  • Top Safety Counter Weight Limit Switch cuts main power if the carriage overruns the top floor level limit switch
  • Landing station collapsible doors interlocked with electro-mechanical limit switches
  • Common contactor cuts main power supply if the up/down contactor fails
