Position Title: Design Engineer – Conveyor System Development

Location: Nashik Phata, Pune

Reporting To: Manager/ Head of Design Dept

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Design Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in the conveyor domain to support the development of conveyor systems and related equipment. The candidate should have strong mechanical design skills, hands-on experience with Creo, and the ability to develop innovative, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions.

Rules and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop conveyor systems and related mechanical components.
• Prepare 3D models, detailed manufacturing drawings, and assembly drawings using Creo.
• Develop new products and improve existing conveyor designs.
• Perform design calculations, component selection, and tolerance analysis.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to ensure smooth product development.
• Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
• Resolve design-related issues during manufacturing and assembly.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, and design change records.
• Ensure designs comply with customer requirements, applicable standards, and company design practices.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in Creo (3D modelling, assembly, detailing, and drafting).
• Good understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
• Experience in conveyor system design and development.
• Knowledge of sheet metal, fabricated structures, machined components, and assemblies.
• Familiarity with GD&T, manufacturing processes, and engineering drawings.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Design/ Engineer/ BE Mechanical Design

Experience: Fresher or 2 To 3 years of relevant experience in Conveyor system design

and development

Soft Skills: Good communication skills, customer orientation, problem-solving ability.

Other

• Knowledge of material handling equipment and conveyor components
• Experience with ERP/PDM systems is an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of FEA and design validation is preferred.
